New Leaf Garden Market offers a great selection of both native and non-native species. Our nursery may be small, but there’s always lots of varieties to choose from. Our selection of trees, shrubs, vines, ground covers, perennials, seasonal color, bulbs and edible plants changes throughout the seasons, so you’ll always be sure to find healthy plants for your garden. We take pride in providing plants of all types that are well-suited for Western North Carolina’s unique growing conditions.
Our native plant selection is not something you’ll find at other local garden centers. We have a great variety of native species including: Viburnum, Ilex, Rhododendron, Leucothoe, Itea, Clethra, Lonicera, Bignonia, Gallium, Tiarella, Aruncus, Cimicifuga, Epimedium, Sarracenia and many more. Most of our native plants are grown locally or regionally and all of our plant material is grown by reputable nurseries who sell only to independent garden centers. You simply won’t find the same plants at the big box stores.
Edible plants are increasingly in demand for home gardens. We stock quality fruiting trees, shrubs and vines that perform well in our area. Our fruit trees and shrubs will often bare fruit the first year they are in your garden. We also offer a great selection of perennial and annual food plants in season, like: Rhubarb, Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Strawberries, Asparagus, Cool Season and Summer Vegetable Plants.
